  1. An article headline to entice you to read but as often in journalism, misleading. If you can be bother to read the whole article (and not be bored half way through and divert off to check on your exciting / boring Facebook friends, you’ll discover research to prove the exact opposite!

  2. I read so many articles like that when I was studying psychology that I barely noticed the change in stance halfway through! For every psychology experiment or study that ‘proves’ something there’s invariably another one that ‘proves’ the exact opposite.
